From Florence Central Station - Firenze Santa Maria Novella- catch a train to Pontassieve (trains run every 15-20 minutes).

Once in Pontassieve, you may catch a bus. The stop where you should get off is Lucignano (Please note: the buses proceed far beyond the stop of our interest).

Get off the bus, continue walking uphill for 150 meters staying on the main road (DO NOT take the detour to Lucignano).

A little higher up, on the left you’ll find the detour to Fontallorso.

Take it (it’s a dirt road, and you’ll find a sign pointing to 'Fontallorso'), continue for 300 meters, until you get to the farmhouse.

If arriving via motorway from the north, exit at Firenze sud.

Continue to Pontassieve and exit at Pontassieve est towards Passo della Consuma; Once in the locality of Borselli, as soon as possible turn around and go back on the provincial road for 1.7 km and turn right at the wooden sign with the words "Fontallorso"; continue on the dirt road to the very last house, pass the gate and park.

If arriving via motorway from the south, the recommended exit is Incisa; then continue towards Pontassieve - Florence. Just before reaching Pontassieve, turn right for Passo della Consuma; Once in the locality of Borselli, as soon as possible turn around and go back on the provincial road for 1.7 km and turn right at the wooden sign with the words "Fontallorso".
